Murray State University

I studied Economics and Art at MSU, graduating with honors in December of 2014.

I was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honors Academy of Economics and Finance. I was the treasurer of the Delta Rho Pledge Class of Phi Mu Alpha, and the Canterbury Club - Episcopal Student Ministries.

I worked for Dr. David Eaton, PhD, during my senior year as an economist. We reported labor statistics from counties across the Commonwealth to see how policies of local governments affected employment rates.

I balanced the analytical side of my education by picking up a minor in studio art. My emphasis was in Architectural Design, and I spent much of my free time drawing buildings on campus and in Frankfort, Kentucky, during my internship at the Legislative Research Commission. I believe "walls make worlds" and enjoy making worlds that enhance the lives of those who enter.

My art studio was on the 7th floor of the Fine Arts Building, which is the tallest building (excluding Roy Stewart Stadium) in Murray, Kentucky, at 8 stories. I spent countless hours studying, drawing and creating. My unique vantage allowed me to observe nature in a way that both humbled and inspired me.
